Diluting "love".

Is it me or do people just throw around the word, "love" very freely nowadays? Call me old fashioned, but I think that it's a very powerful word that should be used sparingly or only when you really mean it. Maybe it's just because saying, "I like you a lot." doesn't have the same ring to it.  A friend once told me that there are different kinds of love, which I totally understand. She said that there's the love you have for your family, the love you have for your friends or the love you have for a special someone. If there's that many kinds of love, then why the hell is there only one word to identify them? Hmmm? I think that there should be a word that means the in-between of "like" and "love". But I can't think of one. Maybe I should just be happy that there are people who think highly enough of me to use that word and my name in the same sentence.

I got yelled at today.......

.....and I didn't like it.

They apologized, but I don't know how to feel.

I want to be mad, but I can't. That's not me.

It actually bummed me out. Not sure what to say or do.

We'll see.........
